What is Anxiety: What Causes Anxiety?

What is Anxiety? A person suffering from anxiety can experience a general state of constant fear and worry. This state can include nervousness and apprehension that affects the person both psychologically and physically. Anxiety affects the way a person feels and behaves as a result of often uncontrollable, obsessive thoughts. These thoughts can leave a person with the inability to keep still, remain calm, and can interfere with sleep patterns. Cases of anxiety range from mild to severe, ultimately affecting the person’s daily life and ability to function.
